Hot Air Balloon Festival - Albuquerque

We woke up at 4:30 am this morning to drive to Albuquerque for the morning ascension of the Hot Air Balloons. What an amazing experience. I highly recommend going to see this event if you are in the Albuquerque area in early October. There were hundreds of balloons in the air at one time.

Homecoming Parade

Wow, I can't remember the last time I went to a Homecoming... All the kids in Los Alamos get out of school early to participate in the Homecoming Parade. Both Emma and Ben were in the parade with their Scout troops. We are really enjoying Los Alamos. The people are super friendly and there are lots of activities to do for the family.

Hiking the Pueblo Canyon Rim Trail

This trail is located on the rim of the mesa of downtown Los Alamos. It is such a beautiful trail.

Hike up the Quemazon Trail...

We went for a hike up Quemazon Trail today. What a beautiful day and such great views of Los Alamos. Luckily, I met a new friend who likes to hike with me so we have been getting some good exercise. Here are some pictures from the trail...
