Moving to New Mexico

Well, the Williams' Family is moving to New Mexico.... Alaska has been very good to our family but we are ready for a new adventure with warmer winters. For all our friends in Alaska, we will miss you all a lot. You have become part of our family. We hope that since we are moving to a warmer and sunnier (over 300 days of sunshine per year) place that you will come visit. We will be within two hours drive from over 10 downhill ski resorts; within an hour's drive of Santa Fe; and within a day's drive from many beautiful National Parks including the Grand Canyon, the Rocky's etc. We will be living in Los Alamos which is at 7,300 ft above sea level. Jim and I were there last week to find a place to temporarily live until we sell our house in Alaska and can buy something down there. What a beautiful place. I was pleasantly surprised of the southwestern beauty. Los Alamos only has a population of 12,000 so we will be moving to a smaller town. We plan to be able to buy a house within a year and we hope to get many visitors.
