Las Conchas Trail
Today we took a 4 mile hike on the Las Conchas Trail in the Jemez Mountains. It was a beautiful hike along a stream located at an elevation of 8,400 feet above sea level.

Pueblo Canyon Trail...not exactly for bicycles.
I decided to check out the trails around Los Alamos. Some are meant for hiking and biking. This trail is beautiful but definitely not for my kind of bicycling...

Tsankawi Prehistoric Sites - Bandelier
We went for a 1.5 mile hike today to the pueblo ruins in Bandelier National Monument. It was a great hike with lots of beautiful views, but with it being 86 degrees we were pretty tired and hot by the end of the walk.

Pecos National Monument
We went to Pecos National Monument yesterday which is located about 25 miles southeast of Santa Fe. The site consists of ruins from the Pueblo, Plains Indians and the Spaniard conquerors and missionaries. This is beautiful country.
