Hike up the Quemazon Trail...

We went for a hike up Quemazon Trail today. What a beautiful day and such great views of Los Alamos. Luckily, I met a new friend who likes to hike with me so we have been getting some good exercise. Here are some pictures from the trail...

Northern New Mexico Wine Tour

I was invited to a Bachelorette Party this past weekend which was a tour of the Northern New Mexico wineries. The scenery was beautiful, the wine was great, and the company was wonderful. We went to four wineries: Don Quixote Winery & Distillery, Estrella Del Norte Vineyard, Black Mesa Winery, and La Chiripada Winery. We ended the day with going to dinner at El Paragua in Espanola (wonderful New Mexican Cuisine).

Four Corners' Monument

Emma wanted to stop by Four Corners' Monument on our way back to New Mexico so that she could have part of her in each of the four states at the same time. According to the monument surveys completed after the original survey indicate that it is not

in the correct location, but we will pretend that it is for this purpose.

Little Colorado

We stopped at the Little Colorado which was beautiful as well. It is located just outside the Park entrance. Lots of well priced Indian jewelry to buy as well.

Grand Canyon for Emma's 13th Birthday

We had a wonderful Labor Day weekend at the Grand Canyon and Four Corners. Emma really wanted to see the Grand Canyon. It is always beautiful there. I know everyone takes beautiful pictures when they go there, but I thought I would share mine with you as well.
